Hey everyone! I promised to post Cancun pictures. This trip was an Artist’s dream. There were so many inspiring colors. I arrived back home in Nashville fully inspired and ready to create. I can’t wait to show you what I have been working on in the next blog post.

Its been over a month since I last blogged! I have been out of town a lot the past few weeks. 
I went to Cancun last week and am posting a blog about it later; I took tons of pictures.
While I was gone all the members of the Monthly Painters Challenge revealed their paintings for the month. I could not wait to see what everyone painted. The Monthly Painters Challenge is a group of 8 artists from Australia, New Zealand, and Nashville, TN!! You got it. I am the American of the group and proud to be included with all of these amazingly talented ladies! Each member picks a challenging topic every month and we don’t reveal our painting until the 15th of every month. It is like eight surprises in one month!! So don’t miss the party. You should bring a friend though. Seriously, you don’t want them to miss this awesomeness.

There are so many gorgeous flowers in bloom right now!
This is my newest painting for sale entitled Vases.
This painting was so much fun to do. I tried out a new technique.
I used oil varnish to cover this painting so it is ultra glossy.
The sides are painted a glossy dark chocolate.
The background was challenging because I wanted to pull out the flowers more.
I decided to go with all of these different shades of greens.
